Portfolio/Gallery Plug-in
The plug-in I am using for my portolio/gallery is called NextGEN Gallery, created by Imagely. Here is a link to the support page, http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/nextgen-gallery . This plug-in gives you an easy way to manipulate the layout of a photo gallery. You are only provided with a few select templates, and must pay for the “premium” templates. I selected this plug-in for similar reasons to the Form plug-in; ease of use and no cost. admin

Form Plug-in
The name of the plug-in I am using for forms is called Contacts Form 7 by Takayuki Miyoshi. The reasoning behind me using this specific form plug-in is because it is not only highly rated, but it has been updated fairly recently. I want to steer clear of plug-ins that are outdated as that can lead to potential security issues. Here is the provided support page https://contactform7.com/support/ . Responsive theme:
The current responsive theme I am using is Ashe, and the creator is WP Royal. The theme is good for personal things, as well as photography, fitness, a small business, and pretty much anything you can think of. It’s very easy to use even for beginners. The theme will enable proper display of content on a multitude of different devices and is very fast. Compatibility with various plug-ins is another huge selling point of this theme. I selected this theme because I am still fairly new to using WordPress; so a theme with ease of use for beginners is something I can’t resist, especially when it is so highly rated.…

WordPress Tips
Less CSS in file will result in faster load times of website. I find this useful to know because while we want to set a website apart by utilizing different things in a CSS file, we don’t want to have a website with poor loading times. admin

I read that there is a tool called a “page builder”, that will enable editing themes in a simple drag and drop type of fashion. This is something that sticks out to me, because it can be seen as a more simple and quick means to customize your theme, as opposed to editing the code itself.
